  • Handsome St. Charles de Foucauld medal necklace
  • Brass plated sterling silver on stainless steel chain
  • Finely detailed and symbolic imagery
  • Honor the Patron Saint of Young Men
  • Wonderful devotional gift for a man you cherish
This handsome necklace honors St. Charles de Foucauld, Patron Saint of Young Men, who was also Viscount of Foucauld, a French soldier, explorer, geographer, Catholic priest and hermit. He lived among the Tuareg people in the Sahara, in Algeria where he translated the Gospel into their language, wrote and published the first bilingual dictionary for the French and Tuareg.

He lived a peaceful, largely hidden life, bringing souls to Christ until he was kidnapped and murdered with two companions in 1916. He is a patron for Young Men and Those Longing for Adventure, those studying Geography, Languages and Cultures.

This handsome medal made of sterling silver then plated in brass features a finely detailed low relief image of the saint, on a stainless steel chain for ease of care and durability. A perfect devotional gift for a man you cherish.
