St. John Bosco (1815 - 1888), also known as Don Bosco, was an Italian priest famous for his ministry to poor and neglected youth. He is also famous for his prophetic dreams which revealed to him his life's work. He was a follower of St. Francis de Sales. At his canonization he was given the title of "Father and Teacher of Youth". This St. John Bosco statue was handcrafted and imported from Italy.
