St. Matthew
Saint Matthew the Apostle is the patron of guards, bankers, accountants, security forces, and stock brokers. He was a Roman tax collector before becoming a disciple and apostle of Jesus. St. Matthew preached among the Jews for 15 years following the death and resurrection of Christ. His Gospel was written to convince Jews that the anticipated Messiah had come and that the Messiah is Jesus Christ. St. Matthew's feast day is September 21st.
