St. Thomas More

Saint Thomas More is the patron of lawyers, large families, and politicians. He is well-known for his depth of knowledge and hard stance against heresy, divorce, and refusal to swear the Oath of Supremacy which is a declaration that the king is the head of the church in England. St. Thomas More was beheaded for refusing to change his religious beliefs to the king's political needs. St. Thomas More's feast day is June 22nd.
