St. Zoe of Rome

Saint Zoe of Rome was a noblewoman married to a high Roman court official during the reign of Emperor Diocletian. Saint Zoe of Rome was greatly devoted to Saint Peter the Apostle and was martyred for her faith. She is commonly represented as a woman hanging from a tree by her hair over a fire which was how her martyrdom took place. St. Zoe of Rome's feast day is July 5.
