Chain has no clasp and it does tarnish

Review: I love the look and weight of the St. Michael / USMC pendant as I needed a heavy duty chain to fit my active lifestyle. I am not sure what sterling bliss means but for me it means will tarnish and I broke out with a rash after about 6 weeks. I did not know I was allergic to sterling but I've been told its most likely the nickel in the chain. I just bought a .925 sterling chain and hopefully I can once again wear this pendant. Be careful!

Review: Purchased the St. Michael's medal for a marine who is being deployed after Christmas. It's not a heavy medal so he really liked that. Oblong shape was perfect and the chain doesn't have a clasp so he won't have to worry about it breaking. He said he's seen some on the other marines that were round, heavy and bulky. He loves the one we got him. Pros: Noclasp on chain
