Mass booklet for Kids

Review: We purchased these booklets for our 2nd grade class (CCE) and gave copies of a page or two each week accompanied by a coloring picture. We taught the Mass weekly very slowly in this manner. We expected that their parents might learn something new too. At the end of the class year we gave each child their own booklet. We found the booklet perfect for this use.

The Mass Explained for Kids

Review: This book is for 'kids' but has no illustrations or pictures. It does have the order and prayers of the Mass. The vocabulary is not for primary grades (1-3)and is above the readability index for these grades: Vocabulary: epiclesis anamnesis doxology derivation of the word Mass This book would be appropriate for grades 4-6?

The Mass Explained for Kids

Review: I am very disappointed. There is nothing in this booklet that would appeal to a 10 year old child who is very bored whenever she has to go to church with me - I am her grandmother. The graphics are boring and the text is tedious. I would love for her to share my love for the Mass but this booklet will not lead her to any appreciation of the beauty of Sunday Mass.

the mass explained for kids

Review: Our 9 yr. old would take this along to mass and follow along.

The Mass Explained for Kids

Review: Nice resource. Our parish gave these out to the children at Mass, when they began their preparation for First Eucharist.

Mass Explained for Kids

Review: I use this book when explaining the Mass to my Religious Education middle school students. It is very informative and easy for them to understand the new changes in the Mass Liturgy. Best Uses: For catechists, Parents for own kids; Pros: Easy for kids to read, Good for ccd students

Great read for people of all ages!

Review: I'm using this product in a number of different settings, as a text for a youth group I am running on the New Roman Missal, in classrooms with teachers and as a resource for RCIA candidates. Really you are only limited by your imagination with this book as it walks through step by step through the text of the New Roman Missal and then it has colour coordinated descriptions for each of the changes as well as explanations for why we do what we do and the meaning behind that particular part of the mass. Its a great resource and its made it on to my all time favourite resource list! Pros: Colourful, Easy To Read, Great explanations
